When Apple released the Macintosh, the performance of the macintosh was superior to IBM’s Pcs, but it was not still compatible with IBM. The executives believed that Jobs was hurting Apple and put him in a more marginalized position and thus left Apple in 1985.

After resigning from Apple, Jobs founded NeXT, which is a hardware and software enterprise. The company sells its specialized operating system to mainstream America and continues to be an integral part of computers. Apple eventually bought the company in 1996. In 1997 Jobs returned to his post as Apple’s CEO and put Apple on track, effective branding campaign, and stylish design, which caught the attention of the customer. Then Apple introduced new products such as Macbook Air, iPod, and iPhone, and competitors scrambled to produce comparable technologies. Jobs knew Pixar’s potential, so he had invested $50 million in the company, which paid off when Toy Story became the highest-grossing movie. Pixar animation studio held its IPO, and Studio merged with Wallet Disney. Jobs met with Laurene Powell at Stanford Business School, where she was a Mba student. They have three children Reed, Erin, Eve, and employment also have a daughter, Lisa, with girlfriend Chrisann Brennan. When Lisa was seven years old, she came to live with her father.

Steve Jobs was diagnosed with cancer, and the doctor asked him to treat it immediately, but he refused to undergo surgery and focused on alternative treatment methods. Nine months later, he underwent surgery and returned to work soon after his operation. In 2009, Jobs took a six-month leave of absence, and Tim Cook ran the company while Jobs was away. In April that year, jobs underwent a successful liver transplant and became a public advocate for organ donation. He continued working at Apple until he died in his Palo Alto home in California.
